This laser rangefinder operates within a range of 6 to 1,000 yards with a 6-degree field of view. It can effortlessly calculate distances with an accuracy of. ±1 to ±2 m/yd in 1-yard increments.

Featuring Tru-Target Priority System, the Nikon Prostaff 1000 allows surveyors to switch between First Target and Distant Target modes depending on the field requirements. It also features an optional ID Technology that gives the horizontal distance to the target at different incline or decline shooting angles up to ±89 degrees. The Prostaff 1000 boasts multilayer coated lens and a long eye relief of 16.7 millimeters for added precision. Plus, it operates using one-button to activate continuous measurement within eight seconds. It only uses one CR Lithium battery as a power source.
